Our History
APT Astro is a division of Applied Precision Technology, a mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing company known for high-quality precision work in the medical and aerospace industries. APT Astro was formed when one of our design engineers started making products for his personnal use as a amateur astronomer. Being frustrated with the options available on the market, he knew there had to be a better solution. We now have several products in testing and production, with several more on the drawing board.

Our Employees
The cornerstone of our company is our employees. From certified Tool & Die Journeyman, Quality Inspectors, Certified Welders, CNC operators, Manufacturing Engineers, Degreed Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, we have them all. We even have a CG designer for ergonomics and usability input for our designs. We also have on staff a Indiana Licenced Profession Engineer (PEI).
